R.I.P. Bob Sheppard

The Yankees family has lost one of their legendary members today..Bob Sheppard aka "The Voice of Yankee Stadium" passed away at the age of 99 this morning..Sheppard started as a public address announcer for the Yanks in 1951 and called his last game in 2007..if you are a Yankee fan by any means, you still get chills whenever you hear him call someone up to bat..before Sheppard stepped down, Derek Jeter asked that he would record his name being called so that when he walked up to bat, he would still be able to hear it every time..Rest In Peace to a true Yankee great.
